Students must arrive at doors to the examination hall at least 5 minutes before the start of the examination. You must enter the hall in silence and remain in silence until you leave the hall. If you have a question please raise your hand and a member of staff will assist you.

You will need to bring with you the following equipment to every exam;

  • Black pens (at least 2)
  • HB pencils (at least 2)
  • Protractor
  • Compass
  • Rubber
  • Ruler
  • Calculator (no lid)
  • If using a pencil case it must be a clear one.
  • Water bottle (clear no labels)

You are only allowed items that are listed above with you during the exam. You must not bring mobile telephones or watches including smart watches in to the exam hall.

If we are instructed by the DfE to move to any form of Teacher Assessed grade for your final GCSE grade, the trial exam outcomes will form part of this overall grade decision making process.
