Lostock Hall Academy Celebrates Students’ GCSE Success

Lostock Hall Academy is proudly celebrating the outstanding achievements of its students following this year’s GCSE results day.

Students and parents shared tears of joy as results were collected and young people prepared for the next stage of their education and careers. Staff were genuinely delighted for students and particularly pleased with strong performances in English, Mathematics, Geography, Engineering, Art, Media Studies, Performing Arts, Sport Studies and Spanish.

Principal Mrs Butterworth said: “It has been a privilege to support and educate these young people, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved. Their success is the result of hard work, ambition and resilience. Just as importantly, though, we are proud of the exceptional young adults they have become, demonstrating strong character, kindness and care for others throughout their time at the Academy.

As our students take their next steps, we hope they do so with confidence, ambition and a sense of purpose. We wish each and every one of them every success and happiness as they embrace the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.”

Key Headline Data 2026 (Provisional)
