An Environment that Inspires! 

Learning at the Academy is facilitated and enhanced by wonderful learning environments. We are very proud to be a school at the heart of Lostock Hall Community, offering a brand new multi-use games area which benefits the whole community and not just our students. 

Our outdoor spaces are designed to support the development of students' social skills. Picnic tables and benches encourage our young people share their free time with others in conversation and friendship. Students also are also able to access outdoor quiet spaces and calming green environments. Many of our students enjoy our outdoor classroom which is the base for our Forest School. 

When you tour the inside of the school, you will notice that classrooms are bright, clean and are designed to make learning experiences comfortable. Our six science laboratories provide inspiring spaces to experiment and explore and our computer suites offer a calm haven for concentration. The Penketh Building is home to flexible learning spaces, including our Library and Nurture areas.
